Are You Aware of the Traits of the Personalities and Job Performance in Your Life ?

In our life, we are impressed by some personalities. In my college days, my faculties insisted me to read and learn different prominent personalities in our world and follow one or two personalities and traits who are alive. Here, there are different types of traits which are an inevitable part of the job performance. The traits of personalities are playing a significant role while you interact with others or making performance in your organisation. Each person is different from others with their traits and experience. Organizations are searching for productive and stable employees.

The research study has found that the big five model-This is the test which John Bearden took for identifying the various types of personalities, the driving force behind a person. The high and low levels can be seen in each trait that varies the behaviour of the employee. This is a popular way of assessing personality.

1.    Extroversion-This is one of the important traits that are extroverted, outgoing, active, talkativeness, sociability and highly spirited. The extroversion type of people has a wide range of the social network. They prefer a variety in the workplace. An introvert is the opposite of this trait that category people have lower social engagement and energy level. The high-level extroverted character tries to achieve their objective. With my observation in the marketing and sales field, this trait is playing a significant role in improving business but introverts are playing a pivotal role in the finance and research field.

2.    Agreeableness-Compassionate, good-natured, and eager to cooperate and avoid conflict. They help the subordinates with appropriate guidance and offer suggestions. They are helpful to others

3.  Conscientiousness-A highly conscientious person is responsible, organized, dependable and persistent. They are reliable and persistent. They are achievement-oriented. They are planned rather than spontaneous behaviour

4.   Emotional stability-People are having emotional stability tend to be calm, self-confident and secure. They are calm and self-confident. This level will help for getting the sustainability in the competitive world.

5.     Openness to experience-extremely open people is creative curious and artistically sensitive. They are open to new job experience, learn, absorb and integrate them with their previous experience and knowledge. They are creative thinkers

There is no trait better than other traits but in job performance some of the traits are good. Some of the research found that Conscientiousness trait is good because they are orderly, dependable and hard workers. This is highly predictive in job performance. This trait is robust. Traits of the personalities are important for the performance in a workplace.
